Pearl

Greyhound Trust Shropshire & Borders Pearl - under assessment

Meet Pearl, racing name Montys Pearl,  a very pretty white and black bitch with amazing eye liner. Pearl is 4 years old (DOB 22/09/2020) she has been in foster with a male greyhound but he hasn't accepted a second dog in the house so Pearl is back with us. She is a lovely friendly girl and mostly walks nicely on the lead. She can become a little excited if other dogs are having fun running about or if kids are playing football as she just wants to join in and play or chase the ball, she won't bring it back though!  She has played nicely with my greyhound at home so could easily be in a home with another greyhound, she was fine out on foster but the other dog wasn't prepared to share his sofa. She could also live as an only dog as she's more than happy to have all the fuss and attention. As she does like to play we don't think she could live with a small dog, although she is fine around other dogs out on walks.

Pearl has had quite  few races and has retired recently with no injuries, she really does deserve her own home now and I'm sure she will make a lovely pet. She's quite confident and enjoys a day out, travelling well in the car. She could be homed with older kids although bear in mind she may run off with the ball!  She would appreciate a garden or someone to hire a secure field where she can occasionally let her hair down.  Pearl can't live with cats or other small furries.

If you'd like to meet her please do get in touch.
